This is a great product for the autograph collector like me - Historic Autographs has hit it out of the park with Retrograph 4! Super selection of a wide variety of major league players from different eras: everyday players, team favorites, stars, and the Hall of Famers! I really enjoyed the thrill and anticipation of opening each pack and seeing what was inside. I now have autographed cards from players I would normally not have access to. Will definitely purchase more boxes when available!
I was excited when this set came out and so I pre-ordered a couple boxes. I was so disappointed with this purchase by the time I finished opening up all the packs.
Between the 2 boxes I have about $50 in value and 2 players that I heard of.
I had one card where there was no ink just the pen impression and then another one where the pen must of exploded due to half the card being covered in blue ink.
Definitely not worth the buy from what I saw in my boxes
I got two boxes of these on pre-order and they shipped promptly. I happened to get what I think is an error in that one of the packs with a hall-of -famer had two. I about broke even because one of the HOF cards was Joe Dimaggio, the other two were George Kell and Jim Bunning. 25% of the cards were lifetime minor leaguers. Would have felt ripped off without the Dimaggio.
I was highly disappointed in the retrograph 4 box. Most of the autographs were disappointing and none were highly regarded as superstars or even good players. I feel this was a waste of money. The autographs are not worth what was expected from the Historic Autograph Company. They used to be quite exclusive in what they produced and offered.
A little disappointed. Not enough pro autos, no hall of fame and many minor leaguers.
